Another Great MAIA Supershow in 2015

The martial arts industry is more empowering, creative and driven than ever. The MAIA 2015 Supershow was a memorable experience, especially since it took place in the adult-equivalent of Disney Land - Las Vegas! The weather was almost as overwhelmed and excited as we were. There was a mix of lightening, clouds and clear-blue skies.

It's no secret that conferences spark anxiety in people who aren't social or extroverted, but the Supershow is one of the most welcoming conferences to be at. Everywhere you look groups of strangers are participating in early morning cardio classes with John Hackleman; celebrity speakers like Walter Bond are mingling with attendees; and exhibitors are eager to chat about their latest development or how they contribute to the overall well-being of the martial arts industry.

ChampionsWay had a great time this sponsoring and presenting again this year. ChampionsWay CEO and Founder, Farid Dordar, had the opportunity to engage participants with a lecture titled, 5 Ways to Use Smart Technology to Build a Successful School. It was a jam-packed room. One of the highlights of Farid's lecture was "Why you need to be unique". It was very on-point because each person or company we chatted with at Supershow was clearly unique and had a different vision for their school and what they wanted to accomplish. Farid encouraged participants to use technology to fuel unique perspective.

ChampionsWay would like to congratulate Susan Warzek from US Budokai Karate of Clifton Park for winning the iPad draw! We hope you like your new toy.

ChampionsWay Director of Sales and Marketing, Vahid Shababi and Director of Customer Service, Nima Jazbi spoke at Tuesday's Lunch and Learn on the topic, "Is Your Business Legally Safe on the Cloud?" This is always an interesting topic. Martial arts school owners usually have their area of expertise in teaching and the art of martial arts itself, not the back-end business. It's great to help schools learn a little more about the technicalities and developments of managing a school.

It's liberating to be amongst schools, people and influential figures, all of whom are bettering the world of martial arts. Thanks again everyone. It was a great show and we're already looking forward to next year.
